Parkes Christian School is entering the annual Melbourne Moomba Birdman challenge for our 4th year. We are very excited this year as more schools are getting involved and Moomba have allocated schools their own category with students able to be more involved in the competition.

PCS has a very dedicated student team working on the aircraft called Double Trouble. Our students have been involved in the design, engineering, construction and testing to get the aircraft ready for the 10 March. 

Our students will also be involved in fundraising, this year with Parkes Christian School being the focus of our fundraising efforts. Some of the money raised will go towards helping our student team get to Victoria, with our remaining fundraising efforts going towards a charity of the teams choice.
