Story
Hi there!
From Team Whoopee (Cathy & Lisa)
We are competing in the 2019 Moomba Birdman Rally on March 10th at Birrarung Marr Park Melbourne.
Last years event was a huge success that we have decided to do the event again.
For this upcoming event we,re hoping to Raise $20,000 or more for the charity Beyond Blue.
The mission for this charity is to equip everyone in Australia with the knowledge and skills to achieve their best possible mental health whatever their age and where ever they live .
The Overwhelming response was just amazing last year,it brought all our families ,friends & community together and that’s what this is all about ...free hugs from Team Whoopee any day !
Tears were flowing and hugs were given while on our journey in 2018 people opened up and told us there stories and gave to this charity as they had either been effected themselves or knew someone who has suffered with depression or anxiety.
Giving makes you feel happier and we would love you to be part of our team .
To achieve this goal we require the generosity and support of local businesses,your support will make a difference .
In 2018 with the help of video footage shown over the Moomba weekend ,newspapers & Tv (Today Show) we raised a staggering $11,500 in just 7 weeks.
Let’s get started ,with only 8 weeks to go we cannot wait to see what the community can achieve this year.
